古代濮阳是中华文明的主要发祥地，皇帝、颛顼、帝喾、仓颉都曾在此劳作和耕战。1987年发现的西水坡M45墓址，经测定距今6500年，墓主人右侧为用蚌壳摆成的龙形图案，是迄今为止考古史上发现的最早的龙形象，被称为“中华第一龙”，濮阳被誉为“中华龙乡”。濮阳拟建设大型龙文化主题公园，建成后具有拜谒祭典与观光旅游两大功能，并策划举办大型节庆活动，使之成为吸引全国乃至全世界华人的重要景区。

1·3 General Description of Project
The ancient Puyang area is one of the main cradlelands of China. Huangdi, Zhuanxu, Digao and Cangji (distinguished figures of Chinese ancient history) worked and cultivated here. In 1987, Xishuipo Mausoleum No M45 dating back 6500 years was discovered. The design of a clamshell dragon was laid on the right side of the host of the grave. It is the earliest dragon figure in the archaeological history of China. It is called ‘The First Dragon in China’. Puyang therefore has a good reputation as the ‘Dragon Hometown’. Puyang city intends to construct a large scale Culture-thematic Park with two main functions: for sightseeing and sacral ceremony to ancient people. After this is accomplished, Puyang plans to hold large festival ceremonial activities. It will be an important scenic spot to attract both domestic and Overseas Chinese tourist from around the world.
